Evergreen, CO, April 23, 2015 —
Secure Outcomes Inc. announced today it has sold and delivered anLS-Lite digital livescan fingerprinting system to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas where it will be used for internal fingerprinting of employees for sensitive positions.
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas is one of the 12 federally sponsored meta-banks that form theFHL Bank System created by the Federal Government with the Federal Home Loan Bank Act of 1932.The FHL System has current total assets of almost $1 trillion and provides top-level stable funding to American financial institutions for home mortgage, small business and other economic development strategic lending.
Digital fingerprints and other information collected by the LS-Lite system at the FHL Bank/Dallas are automatically transmitted as encrypted traffic by the system to the FBI for lookup and background check processing. The background check results are quickly transmitted back to the bank to aid in sensitive position screening.
Secure Outcomes CEO Jack Harper said, “We are pleased that this very important federal bank has placed their trust in our livescan system. Our system will collect full-rolled forensic quality fingerprint sets; transmit that information to the FBI; and quickly receive back fingerprint-based identification and criminal history for use by the bank.”
Harper continued, “This is our first entrée into the banking sector, which is a fast growing market for digital fingerprinting. There are 6,800 commercial banks in the United States and the FBI does fingerprint-based Criminal History Record Information (CHRI) checks on employees of federally chartered or insured banks. Federal law prescribes penalties of up to $1.0-million per day for a bank hiring a known criminal. Our systems are designed to enable banks to meet the extensive federal/state fingerprinting requirements.”
