Secure Outcomes Announces Sale of LS-Lite™ Digital Livescan Fingerprinting System to Denver Public Schools

Secure Outcomes Digital Livescan Systems now in use by the Largest Colorado and the Second Largest Arkansas Public School District

For Immediate Release:  Monday, November 17, 2014
Evergreen, CO, November 17, 2014 —
Secure Outcomes Inc. announced today it has sold and delivered an LS-Lite™ digital livescan fingerprinting system to Denver Public Schools (DPS).
The system will be used by DPS to fingerprint teachers and employees for required background checks. Digital fingerprints and other information collected by the system are transmitted to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Lakewood and on to the FBI and DHS for lookup and background check processing. The background check results are quickly transmitted back to DPS.
Denver Public Schools is the largest school district in Colorado operating 162 public schools with over 87,000 students. It is one of the fastest growing urban school districts in the country.
Fingerprint test transmissions from the DPS LS-Lite system were successfully completed with the CBI this past Thursday. The district is now certified for digital fingerprint background check processing with the CBI and will receive results back in minutes rather than in weeks as before with the old ink and paper fingerprinting.
Secure Outcomes CEO Jack Harper said, “We are delighted to have won this contract award from Denver Public Schools. I appreciate their confidence in our livescan gear. This means that our livescan systems are now handling digital fingerprinting for the largest public school district in Colorado as well as the second largest school district in Arkansas – Fort Smith Public Schools, which has 14,000 students and three of our LS-Lite systems.”
Harper continued, “We won this contract award against all of the older legacy names in the livescan business. This is an important accomplishment for a young tech company and is very promising for our future. In addition, we just received an order for a livescan system from another major Colorado district – Boulder Valley School District. The fast-growing educational market represents a major opportunity for Secure Outcomes.”
